Description

Where's a common myth that digital science and liberal arts don't interact with each other. That's so not true, because humanities go digital from 1940, when scholar Roberto Busa collaborated with IBM to create a computer generated concordance to Thomas Aquinus writings. Nowadays humanities use computing and technologies for a lot of important stuff. In my presentation I will try to acquaint the audience with the most interesting parts of it and to prove the statement that liberal arts are actually important for all humans (yeah, that does include you, IT orientated folks).
