Description

In the age of the Internet, not owning a library card is completely normal and actually, it is hard to imagine how our grandparents graduated from schools and universities without Google and Wiki. Unfortunately, the Internet is polluted with fake news or trolls and while thinking that you are swimming in the infinity pool, you can easily drown in the mud.

In this presentation, I will give a tutorial on how to recognize fake news, how to choose a credible source, how to analyze literature and make right conclusions.

I hope that after this session you will be able to think critically while reading news & articles, that you'll share your posts in social media and blogs only with verified information and maybe even report and fight the "mud".
