Description

From Amazon Mechanical Turk to citizen science - crowdsourcing/microtasking and more advanced human computation systems are taking over various aspects of life, and it's not about to stop as the fourth industrial revolution gains speed.

We're all likely to be part of that future, so what ethical issues might we want to think about now? Is crowdsourcing becoming or will become a way to get cheap labor? Is human computation a form of exploitation or our best approach for tacking the wicked problems of the world collectively?

Let's discuss these questions at NTA Camp 2018! (And act upon them later too.)
